Being in Dubai

Dubai Life 

My favorite way of spending time is to go somewhere and crawl into another person's life and capture that in images.
As I did in Dubai, where I became a member of a local family and had the chance to take a peek into that world, to look beyond the facade and experience their day-to-day life.
I love doing that.

Synchronicity is the other element that I search for in my work. Watching for patterns in reality to occur. Waiting for life to show up.
At times, I feel like a stalker invading someone's personal space, waiting, watching...
And then I can almost taste it, I feel it.
There is this energy lingering around, waiting to come into play. The stage is set.
And sometimes, when I am really lucky, everything just starts to move, people come up and down, and life unravels in front of me. I feel up-lifted, excited, and all I have to do is… focus, shoot... focus, shoot.
